Why exhibit with the COA?
We are planning a unique scientific program this year that is being specifically designed to appeal to general orthopaedic surgeons while at the same time providing ample educational opportunities for the academic sub specialists. Our goal is to attract members to the Edmonton meeting that have not attended a COA meeting in the last few years. Last meeting in Whistler we had over 340 orthopaedic surgeons plus another 300 allied health professionals, orthopaedic researchers, Fellows and orthopaedic residents attend. We expect to increase these numbers in 2010 as we move the meeting back to the more traditional June timeframe. Your participation at this meeting offers unequalled opportunities to align your products and services with the vision and objectives of the most elite practitioners of orthopaedics in Canada.

Take advantage of these benefits:

  • New this year –a Passport system will help motivate conference attendees to visit your booth. Exhibitors that take a minimum of 4 spaces will automatically have their company name and logo pre-printed in the Passport. All exhibitors can participate at no extra cost.
  • A showcase theatre available to exhibitors for booking special presentations
  • The exhibit hall is in the centre of all the scientific sessions in the Shaw Centre in Edmonton. All sessions will be held at the Shaw.
  • More than five hours of unopposed exhibit time, including the Thursday night President’s reception in the exhibit hall
  • Again this year, we will feature hands-on workshops available to interested companies that wish to organize and provide their instrumentation for a practical demonstration workshop. Contact Doug Thomson if you are interested in this opportunity and would like to propose a workshop. (Do this soon!)
  • Unequalled visibility with key decision makers
  • All breaks and lunch service in the exhibit hall
  • Access to scientific sessions, keynote addresses, paper and panel presentations (based on space availability)
  • Scientific posters in the exhibit hall

We are committed to producing a successful experience for our exhibitors in Edmonton, so please don’t hesitate to contact the COA office if we can be of any assistance.
